International project
Ref.: 2016-1-ES01-KA204-025659
International project funded by the Erasmus+ programme within the key activity 2 for the school education sector (KA201), with a duration of 2 years and a budget of 197.453 Euros.
Another important aspect of the project is the fact that it has been developed bearing in mind the importance of getting parents involved in the activities, helping the bond between mentally disabled people and their families. In addition, the virtual community medium allows for participants in different locations to play together in pairs or in groups.
The outcome of the project has been the development of the following products:
○ An online platform, a virtual community and a game. An online area in which adults,
educators and parents can play (through training units) with virtual tools as well as interact with the real robots they have in their homes or in their training centres.
○ A robot, which will be the interacting element with the user.
○ Ten learning units. The platform will also include ten learning units, based on already existing games or on new ones, all adapted for adults with disabilities. These games aim to work on different important aspects, such as orientation, sequencing, etc.
The project has been carried out by the following partners
